Our Partners

Cadbury works with high profile employers such as KPMG, Ernst & Young, Open Lens, West Midlands Fire Service and many more, so we can provide exclusive opportunities for our students to engage in meaningful work placements to further develop their employability. In addition to this, a high percentage of Cadbury learners progress to Higher Education often benefitting from the support gained through our long-established relationships with top local universities.

University of Birmingham

We work in partnership with the city’s most established Russell Group University to provide our students with unique opportunities to study at Birmingham and receive specialist support and guidance on a range of applications. Successful students can partake in three programmes run by the university with Cadbury College students:

A2B

The Access to Birmingham scheme gives students from Cadbury more insight into what it’s like to study at the University, as well as an alternative A2B offer to study and the chance to be awarded a scholarship.

R2P

The Routes to the Professions programme allows students at Cadbury who are interested in moving into a professional career to gain the insight and guidance needed to complete successful applications, for very competitive courses. Students join the programme in their first year at college and receive a range of support through their two years with us including: careers advice, support with UCAS personal statements, interview preparation, work placement opportunities, mentoring from current undergraduate students, and the opportunity to shadow students during lectures.

Realising Opportunities (RO)

The Realising Opportunities programme is run through the University of Birmingham but is a national programme which gives Cadbury College students increased access to some of country’s leading research-intensive universities. RO students will be supported during their studies at Cadbury with increased information, advice and access to RO universities. They will develop the skills they need to be successful at university and to make informed choices about their future.

Birmingham City University

Cadbury College is part of BCU’s Schools and Colleges Partnership Programme. All students across the college benefit from outreach talks and events run in college by the university as well as opportunities to attend specialist workshops and masterclasses at the university itself. In addition to this successful application from Cadbury College to BCU can benefit from a differentiated UCAS offer onto selected undergraduate courses.

Coventry University

Cadbury College is part of Coventry’s Phoenix Partnership benefitting from direct contact with the one of the country’s fastest growing universities. Through the programme Coventry deliver a tailored programme of talks, interactive outreach sessions and campus visits to support us in raising our students’ aspirations and preparing them for life at university. Our teachers also benefit from liaising with academic staff at the university to deliver subject-specific sessions.
