You’ll also hear from Emily and Ivy, two of our T Level Early Years students at Cadbury College, who share their enthusiasm for the course and their excitement about gaining hands-on experience through their upcoming industry placements.

Trailblazer Tuesday

As part of #TLevelsWeek, we’re celebrating Trailblazers Tuesday by showcasing the success of our T Level alumni. Mervely Kiese, who studied T Level Digital at Cadbury Sixth Form College.

Mervely is now studying Software Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. Through the Generating Genius programme, Mervely recently attended his first in-person event at the House of Lords.

He is also gaining valuable industry experience by working with PDT Partners and National Grid, developing his technical knowledge and learning from professionals in the field.

His journey highlights the opportunities T Levels can create for students looking to build a future in the digital industry.

WORKPLACE WEDNESDAY

Cadbury College T Level Business, Management and Administration students are gaining valuable industry experience through their partnership with The Sweet Project.

Following two student placements last academic year, four students recently completed a three-week live employer project, developing and presenting ideas to raise the organisation’s profile and strengthen community engagement.

The Sweet Project praised students for their enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to learn, adding that working with the College was a positive and supportive experience. They would welcome future placements and encourage other employers to get involved.

This partnership highlights how T Levels help students build confidence, develop practical skills and prepare for their future careers through real-world experience.

THRIVING THURSDAY

As part of T Level Week, we spoke to two of our T Level Business students at Cadbury College about why they chose the qualification and how it is preparing them for their future careers.

Both students highlighted the importance of industry placements, which provide valuable opportunities to gain hands-on work experience, apply classroom learning in a real-world environment and develop essential workplace skills.

They also recognised the benefits of building relationships with employers and learning from industry professionals, helping them explore future career opportunities and make valuable connections.

Their experiences demonstrate how T Levels combine academic study with practical industry experience, giving students the skills, confidence and connections to support their progression into employment or further study.

FUTURE FRIDAY

For Future Friday of T Level Week, we hear from Alex Russell, Business T Level lecturer at Cadbury College and a T Level Ambassador.

Alex explains how T Levels are becoming increasingly recognised by employers and education providers, offering students a valuable alternative to traditional academic routes. By combining classroom learning with industry placements, T Levels allow students to put their knowledge into practice, gain real-world experience and develop the skills needed for their future careers.

With their strong focus on employer partnerships and practical learning, T Levels are helping prepare the next generation of talent for the world of work.
