Oliver Braves The Shave In Memory Of Grandad

A huge well done to Cadbury Sixth Form College student Oliver, who bravely had their head shaved on site to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff and students came together to support Performing Arts, Graphic Communication and Music student Oliver, who took on this challenge in memory of their Grandad, who sadly lost his battle with cancer.
A big thank you also goes to our Hairdressing & Barbering student at Sandwell College Jude, who kindly volunteered to carry out the shave.
Oliver said: “I am aiming to make about £300. I know this is a big number but I believe I can do it. I am doing this as a tribute to my grandad who fought cancer like a hero. He never complained, never even winced. He was a trooper and just so brave. I remember how he came and fixed a pipe after just having chemo. An absolute soldier he was. So I want to be brave like him.”
So far, Oliver has raised an incredible £220, with the donation page still live for anyone who would like to support this amazing cause.
