Lord Hunt visits Cadbury College for Politics Talk

A Level Politics students at Cadbury Sixth Form College recently had the honour of welcoming Lord Philip Hunt of Kings Heath for an engaging and thought-provoking session on the House of Lords.

Lord Hunt shared his unique first-hand insights into the workings and responsibilities of the second chamber, offering students a deeper understanding of its role in shaping UK legislation. He also discussed current political challenges and emphasised the importance of active democratic participation.

The session sparked lively discussion and debate, with students asking thoughtful questions and exploring complex political issues with enthusiasm and maturity.

A huge thank you to Lord Hunt for taking the time to inspire the next generation of political thinkers — helping them connect classroom learning to real-world governance.
