The Level 2 Diploma in Sports Industry Skills is designed for school leavers who are passionate about sport and physical activity and are interested in starting a career in the sport and active leisure sector. This one-year, fully mandatory qualification equips students with the essential skills, knowledge and professional behaviours expected by employers in the industry. You can do this course whilst improving on your GCSE results.
Throughout the course, learners will explore a wide range of key areas, including how people participate in sport, the different career roles available, and how to work effectively in school and community sports environments. The course places a strong emphasis on developing leadership skills, particularly in working with children, and includes practical opportunities to plan and deliver sports activity sessions.
