The A-Level French course builds upon GCSE skills, aiming to develop proficiency in all four traditional language areas: listening, reading, speaking, and writing, as well as introducing the component of translation (English to French and French to English) Students explore francophone society, culture, and politics, including studying prescribed texts and films. The course also emphasizes understanding contemporary issues and multiculturalism within the francophone world.
