Ibrahim Alumni in front of Buckingham Palace

From Cadbury Sixth Form to the Crown Prosecution Service

Ten years ago, Ibrahim Ilyas left Cadbury Sixth Form College to study Law at Birmingham City University, graduating with first-class honours.

Fast forward a decade, and Ibrahim is now a newly qualified barrister with the Crown Prosecution Service. His journey has included working with the self-employed Bar and placements at prestigious institutions like the Attorney General’s Office — all with one clear goal: to become a prosecutor.

Just last week, he was honoured with an invitation to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, London, England .

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of Ibrahim’s story and can’t wait to see the impact he makes in the legal world.
