Clubs & Societies

College is about more than your lessons. At Cadbury, you’ll have opportunities to explore new interests, develop practical skills, meet like-minded people and discover something you’re passionate about.

From science and medicine to creative arts, sport, debating, finance and everything in between, our clubs and societies give you the opportunity to make the most of your time at college.

More than just your studies

Whether you want to develop an existing passion or try something completely new, there’s plenty to get involved with at Cadbury.

Our programme of clubs and societies gives students the chance to:

  • Discover new interests outside their normal subjects

  • Develop practical skills that can benefit you beyond college

  • Build confidence and communication skills

  • Meet people who share your interests

  • Develop experiences that can strengthen university and job applications

  • Explore potential careers and find out what different industries are really like

  • Have fun and make the most of college life

And because our programme changes and develops, there are always opportunities to get involved in something new.

Prepare for life beyond college

Money, Life & Independence

One of the most valuable things you can learn at college is how to look after yourself when you leave.

Our Money, Life & Independence sessions help students develop practical knowledge and confidence for life beyond education — from understanding money and budgeting to making informed decisions about your future.

Students can develop an understanding of topics such as:

  • Budgeting and managing your money

  • Understanding finances and everyday banking

  • Preparing for independent living

  • Making informed financial decisions

  • Understanding the costs and responsibilities of adult life

  • Preparing for life after college

It’s about giving students practical knowledge that they can actually use, helping you leave Cadbury with more than just your academic qualifications.

Alongside Money, Life & Independence, our Financial Life Management activities help students develop the financial awareness and practical skills they’ll need as they move towards greater independence.
