Performance Sport

Want to take your sport to the next level? Our performance sport programme gives talented and committed students the opportunity to train, compete and represent Cadbury College against other colleges.

Represent Cadbury

At Cadbury College, our competitive sports programme currently focuses on football and basketball, giving students the opportunity to represent the college and compete against other colleges.

Our teams provide a chance to develop your sporting ability while experiencing the commitment, teamwork and discipline that comes with competitive sport.

Whether you’re looking to continue competing after school or simply want to challenge yourself in a new environment, our performance teams offer an exciting opportunity to take your sport further.

Train. Compete. Develop.

Being part of a performance team involves more than simply playing matches. Students selected for our teams are expected to train regularly, commit to fixtures and work as part of a team.

Through regular training and competition, you’ll have opportunities to:

  • Develop your technical and tactical skills

  • Improve your fitness and physical performance

  • Test yourself against other colleges

  • Develop teamwork and communication

  • Build confidence and resilience

  • Represent Cadbury College in competitive fixtures

How do I join a team?

Places on our competitive teams are subject to trials. This gives our coaches the opportunity to assess students and create teams that are able to compete effectively.

If you’re interested in joining one of our performance teams, you’ll need to attend the relevant trial and demonstrate your ability, attitude and commitment.

Once selected, students are expected to train regularly and commit to representing the college in fixtures against other colleges.
