Cadbury Sixth Form College proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of its students at the 2025 Student Awards Ceremony, held on campus last night. The annual event brought together learners, families, staff, and special guests for an evening dedicated to recognising excellence, resilience, and ambition.
The evening honoured students who have demonstrated exceptional qualities throughout the academic year. Awards were presented in a range of categories including Subject Endeavour, Community Contribution, Perseverance & Empowerment, Overcoming Adversity, as well as the prestigious Excellence in Faculty Awards and the Principal’s Award.
In a heartfelt and uplifting celebration, students were applauded not only for their academic success but also for their leadership, creativity, and determination to thrive in the face of challenges.
A special highlight of the evening was a powerful and inspiring address by Jess Phillips MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls. Her speech encouraged students to continue striving for positive change and to believe in their ability to make a difference in the world.
The event was hosted by Lisa Capper MBE, CEO and Principal of The Sandwell Colleges Group, and Campus Principal Lydia Maher, who both spoke proudly of the students’ achievements and the values that underpin the college’s supportive and inclusive community.
The 2025 Awards Evening was a true reflection of the talent and promise at Cadbury Sixth Form College, and a celebration of the staff and families who support them every step of the way.
