Enough about exams - the student blog mostly contains tips and advice about coping with exams and stress - but enough is enough.  Cadbury is about so much more than exams and studying.  There are so many opportunities and activities for you to get involved with, and that's what I want to focus on today.

These blogs are meant to be creative, inspiring and entertaining (maybe a little informative) but we love to focus on the good things in life so let’s just sway away from the upcoming exam season and take a deep breath.

When I joined Cadbury this year, I began my silver Duke of Edinburgh award.  My experience with the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Cadbury College has been amazing so far; I grabbed a couple friends, put some time into planning the expedition, got the training and voilà. DofE is perhaps one of my favourite trips I have ever embarked upon. Imagine going a day without your phone and no Wi-Fi! Multiply that by three and exclude teachers, stress, work and there you have the Duke of Edinburgh Award summed up. Not only is this award well known and well respected by universities and employers, but when you complete the Gold Award you get to meet the Duke of Edinburgh himself! The best part is the fact that this college has the staff to get you onto the Award and get you ready to embark onto the Gold Award in your year(s) at Cadbury.

The DofE Award played a great part into my reason for picking Cadbury as a sixth form college to study my A-Levels. Maybe it will for you too?

As always thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day :-)
