Academisation of Cadbury College
Notice is hereby given that Cadbury Sixth Form College is seeking to become an academy and to join the Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust which is being sponsored by Coventry University. This announcement signals the start of a statutory consultation exercise under section 33N of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 and FE Corporations Regulations, SI 2012 No. 1157. The College is proposing to dissolve its Governing Body and to transfer all property, rights and liabilities to the Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust. The date proposed for the dissolution of Cadbury Sixth Form College as a Sixth Form College and the creation of Cadbury Sixth Form College as a 16-19 academy is 1st August 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter subject to the appropriate permissions. All students currently attending Cadbury Sixth Form College will continue their education as currently planned and there are no plans to change the college’s provision.
